Panel Re-Upholstery
At West Michigan Office Interiors, our panel refurbishment services breathe new life into the panels and screens that make up cubicles, workstations, and partitions. Throughout the refurbishment process, we remove and repaint the trim. Choices of color are limited to the specific manufacturer. We strip the panels of their old textiles and replace them with your selected fabric, ensuring a fresh and updated look. We also take responsibility for recycling the old fabrics through our trusted partners. While we specialize in Remanufactured Haworth, Enhanced Premise, and Herman Miller Axtion Office II, we can refurbish panels from a wide range of manufacturers. Our panel fabric providers include renowned brands such as CF Stinson, Guilford of Maine, and Burch Fabrics.
Painting Process
For decades, West Michigan Office Interiors has been utilizing water based painting to rejuvenate pre-owned office furniture. Water based painting involves the application of a “wet coat” of water based paint (as seen above) to the parts which are then run through an oven at 145 degrees for a 15 minute “curing process.” This results in a hard, durable surface that makes used office furniture look and feel brand new. Water based painting is an environmentally sound method for painting office furniture, as it contains no solvents and releases negligible amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere.

Our laminate department at West Michigan Office Interiors is dedicated to restoring and upgrading the appearance of existing office furniture or creating custom surfaces to meet your specific design requirements. We aim to deliver a high-quality final product that offers years of functional, stylish, and cost-effective service.
